The Dingle Peninsula is delighted to have been chosen to showcase 2 global entertainment phenomena, Star Wars and Top Gear during 2016. Once cited as 'the most beautiful place on earth' by the National Geographic; it was voted among the top 100 destinations in the world by Trip Advisor; and CNN recently recommended it as a very favourable winter destination. It is also listed as one of the top 10 places to be on New Year's Eve and was awarded Foodie Town of Ireland for Dingle in 2014.
