Such a loss to the arts community today with the sad passing of Elmarie Mawe. An absolute beacon of enthusiasm and joy, both on the air and on the stage. She trod the boards with us on a couple of occasions back in the late 90's and continued to support every production on the Arts House on Sunday mornings. Our condolences go out to her husband, Conor Tallon, and the Mawe family at this sad time. She will be greatly missed.

We are delighted to invite you to audition for our next production, Othello, directed by
Auditions

These will be held on Monday 3rd and Thursday 6th of August , 7pm - 10pm. 

Auditions will be held at The Rock Community Centre, T23 WA22.

Please prepare two contrasting monologues

We encourage you to choose pieces that allow you to demonstrate your range as a performer.  You may also be asked to take part in a cold reading from Othello, the scene selected by the director.

There will be a casting workshop on Sunday 9th August, which shortlisted performers are expected to attend.

Performance Dates

@ Cork Arts Theatre.  Week beginning 23rd November.  You will need to be available for the whole of this week

@ Ballymaloe Grainstore.  An additional performance run is planned for the last two weeks of January, dates to be confirmed.
