This year, our Cruinniú na nÓg event, 6th of June, will be held in collaboration with the Butter Museum, featuring a storytelling session about spooky ghosts along the Butter Roads. Children are invited to ask the storyteller questions and bring their own visions of these ghostly characters to life through clay.

We will also invite participants to take part in a wheel-throwing demonstration and a discussion of pottery techniques, led by secondary school student Diorean, a junior member of Shandon Art Studio. She will also share her experience of working in the studio as a pottery assistant and encourage participants to share their own experiences of working with clay
