Rest in Peace John Blanche.
A pillar of the Illustration, Design, World Building and the Miniature Wargaming world.

I've never met John in the flesh, but I know many who have. They have all spoken very highly of him.

The one interaction I did have with John was 9 years ago, a year following the passing of a long time hobby friend of mine, James McCrindle. I wanted to do something to commemorate my friend and John donated three amazing miniatures previously featured in his Blanchitsu White Dwarf article for the cause.

These miniatures now reside in the collection of

John was understanding, empathetic and incredibly generous. I wish his family well in this difficult time.

I am very excited to start reading this new duo of books from

Set within a bustling Hive City. I'm excited to get stuck into the smog, intrigue, cloak and dagger of it all.

Who knows what it might inspire!
