WHAT AN AMAZING KIDS’ DAY AT THE COBH PEOPLE’S REGATTA on Sat ! 👑🎉
What a Saturday it was! ☀️💙 Cobh was absolutely buzzing as we celebrated an unforgettable day packed with fun, laughter and plenty of talent!
👶 Bonny Baby – gorgeous little stars stealing the show!
🤴 Mini Prince – future royalty in Cobh!
👸 Mini Queen – our little princesses looked amazing!
🎤 COBH’S GOT TALENT – some incredible young performers took to the stage!

Massive thanks to Sharon o Connor for judging all the competitions
🎧 DJ FLEA – keeping the party going and getting everyone dancing! 🕺💃
A massive THANK YOU to every child, parent, performer, volunteer and everyone who came along and made Saturday so special. ❤️
The smiles, the dancing, the talent and the atmosphere made it a day to remember at the Cobh People’s Regatta! 🎪🎉

One word to describe Sunday at the Cobh People’s Regatta… OUTSTANDING! ❤️💙
With the sun shining and the Promenade absolutely buzzing, it was a day packed full of incredible entertainment from start to finish!
🎶 11am — The Molgoggers kicked things off
🎻 12pm — Comhaltas
🇮🇪 1pm — Ireland Eurovision finalist Lottie O’Driscoll
🎷 2pm — The incredibly talented Abigail Cotter on saxophone
🎤 3pm — Va Va Voom had the Promenade absolutely jumping!
🎸 6pm — The fantastic Derek Burke Band
🔥 And to finish the night… the absolutely amazing J90!
And that was just the music! 😍
Throughout the day we had arts & crafts, face painters, balloon makers, crab fishing, the Duck Race and, of course, the spectacular Regatta fireworks lighting up the skies over Cobh! 🎆
The atmosphere along the Promenade was simply incredible. Families, friends, music, laughter and entertainment all coming together to make it a truly unforgettable Sunday.
A massive THANK YOU to every performer, entertainer, volunteer, organiser, stallholder and everyone who came along and made the day so special. ❤️

This year’s Cobh People’s Regatta ( INSIDE the Promenade ) was run spectacularly — and Sunday was the perfect way to finish it!

A lot of people asking yesterday how the duck race works.

So Paul o halloran has 2500 ducks which himself and Gemma have to go through and renumber each year ( as we lose a few when collecting)
Then we have to sell all the ducks ( which is just as time inducing as the first bit)
We have to get a boat and load up the ducks
Drop.them in the water and let them race from Titanic to DOD pier

Pick out the 1st to 5th ducks

The we spent iover a. Hour yesterday in the boat out collecting all the ducks with fishing nets

Each duck has a number so we check the corresponding numbers off the sheets you fill in

Congrats to all the winners and massive thanks to everyone for their support
