This Short Film Festival without a Cinema invites you to explore alternatives throughout the village of Schull, providing those who attend with a totally new cinematic experience. Distributed Cinema is Schull’s very own intranet network dedicated to short film. Films are screened in over 15 venues, from a bookshop to an art gallery, a craft shop to the village hall, numerous local pubs and restaurants. Schull’s network connects, through Ethernet cable and wireless, to its own short film archive on a dedicated server. Anyone with a smartphone, laptop or iPad can also access the server through Wi-Fi anywhere on the main street and watch any of the 8 years of submission films any time of the day or night. Visitors can also take a short ferry ride to the Long Island cinema to watch submission shorts.

Genevieve and the team at Sheenco Travel took exceptional care of our international guest's transport this year. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and personal touch was outstanding. If you're looking for a travel company that goes above and beyond, we couldn't recommend them highly enough. Superb service throughout! 5⭐️

Our founder Genevieve spoke to the Irish Examiner this week about fourteen years of Sheenco Travel, since she started the company from her kitchen table in Goleen, West Cork.

The North American guest has moved on from coach tours, toward private drivers and manor hotels, itineraries built around them rather than off a shelf. What hasn't changed is the part Genevieve still does herself: a personal relationship with every guest, from first contact through the trip and after.
