Rebel City Drama Club is holding open auditions for our next production ‘Calendar Girls’ on Wed 26th & Thu 27th August from 6.30 - 10pm in Costigan’s Bar on Washington St.

Directed by Cathie Cowhig, ‘Calendar Girls’ is based on the true story of a group of women living in Yorkshire who are members of the Women’s Institute and one of whom’s husband dies. They go about fundraising by doing a naked calendar. It’s beautifully written and explores human vulnerabilities, grief and development. There is a gorgeous mixture of laughter and tears. Please note illusion of nudity - no t**s or bits will be seen in this production.

As it's now a week since the 1st live performance of this production, we are well and truly rested.

We look forward to returning to our fortnightly meetups on the 11th of May. We're also planning something exciting for the summer and have our Autumn Production to look forward to after that.

Our annual ‘Views from...’ series is back! For 15 years, these events have been a celebration of the wealth of talent in Cork and beyond. This April, the theme is ‘Views from a Deckchair.’

Expect ten brand-new, 10-minute plays that take you everywhere from a rooftop and a riverbank to a cruise ship and even IKEA! While comedy is to the fore, you’ll find some lovely, poignant pieces in the mix, too.

That's a wrap for 'Rossum's Universal Robots' (R.U.R) directed by Robert O'Sullivan. ()

It's with heavy hearts we say goodbye to this production and the stage at Nano Nagle Theatre Ballyphehane.

Yet, we're all very much glad of the rest after all the hard work we've put in the past few months.

Thanks to all our friends, family, communities and everyone else for coming out and supporting us!! We appreciate it. And we hope you enjoyed the show.
