Tonight CrowdSound are delighted to host MB, the Musical Brotherhood, at the Woodford Sessions.

MB are a Cork city band that could equally be at home in Havanna or Detroit. Motown and Soul are at the heart of what MB do, both in their highly original arrangements of soul and funk classics as well as their fantastic original material, all of which is infused with the intoxicating latin rhythms that lends them their hip-shaking edge. The vocals are of a particular grace, eloquent phrasing and passion and the band features some of Cork's finest instrumentalists in an eclectic display of congas; cajun; sax; electric guitar; acoustic guitar and some badass buried-in-the-pocket bass.

If you like to lay in a sultry groove then step up to a latin fever!

This Week the Woodford Sessions are delighted to host Luki.
An integral part of the Cork City soundscape, Luki has sang his heart out on Cork City streets and enthralled the city Nightlife for several years now. Fresh from a very successful performance at Townlands Carnival, Luki is lending us his particularly rich and soulful voice to deliver songs of struggle, passion and striving for what is rightfully yours.

This week CrowdSound are delighted to host The Vestas. Hailing from Midleton, The Vestas blend acoustic jazz, soul and blues producing a rich harmonic foil for their bouyant and colourful vocals. Winding through some very interesting musical twists and turns, you can expect a merry-go-lucky escapade through tales of lonesome heartache, luck-cursed blues and general craic.

If you like music that harks back to gin-soaked speakeasys, where melody is king, the hook is kingmaker, skating is a virtue and lush vocal harmonies abound, come join us!

This week CrowdSound welcome Crab Seal Teeth to the Woodford Sessions.

Crab Seal Teeth is an original psychedelic punk-rock band drawing on respective African, Indian, funk and jazz influences to produce an absolute blast of musical mayhem. All established musicians and creative artists in their own right, this cork-based supergroup comprises Pat Allot (bass), Dara O'Brien(guitar), and John Adams (drums)

If you like music that is "wild, heartfelt and good craic"..
