Feis Maitiu Corcaigh

Feis Maitiu Corcaigh Feis Maitiú Corcaigh is a Music and Drama Festival which is held each year at The Father Mathew Ha Some Bursaries and Scholarships are offered each year.

The Festival takes place each year from the end of January to the start of April, with the various sections rotating annually within that time frame. Our extensive Syllabus has Classes in Singing, Instrumental Music, Speech & Drama, in both English and Irish. The Festival provides a platform for performers of all ages to present their work before experienced professional adjudicators who assess, e

ncourage and help improve performances. Adjudicators are chosen for their expertise in each performance subject. Certificates, medals and trophies are awarded for particularly exceptional performances.

34 OUTSTANDING TROPHIES NOT RETURNED

We had 4 open days for Trophies to be returned. Thank you to those who did! And thank you to those who returned by post to the designated address.

The Father Mathew Hall is now closed for the summer period. Those who have Trophies please return by post to the notified address you were given in a recent email.

If returning by POST then please, please bubble wrap the Trophy and return by registered post. An UNWRAPPED Trophy came back last week by post and was broken in transit!!!

The Feis stewards are now at the end of their tether over pleading for Trophies to be returned and are strongly advocating not to give out Trophies in future. This was initially endorsed by the Feis Board at their meeting last week.
