The 2027 Feis Syllabus is now available on our website at: https://www.feismaitiu.ie/2027-feis-syllabus-and-updates-announced/

The 2027 Feis Closing date is Thurssday, 26th November, 2026 at 4.00pm.

Copies of the 2027 Syllabus has been sent to all those on our mailing list. A number have bounced back or failed to deliver. If you are on our regular mailing list and have not received a message, please contact us, by email, immediately.

Any new teacher who wishes to register with the Feis Office to receive updates and messages about the Feis, please contact us by the 18th Sept. at the latest for inclusion in the 2027 Feis season.

Please note that we are short of stewards to help in the office so our opening hours are restricted. The Feis Office will be open on the following times:

Tuesday, 1st September, 2:00 – 4:30pm

Wednesday, 9th September, 2:00 – 4:30pm

Tuesday, 15th September, 2:00 – 4:30pm

Teacher Data Base Update and Office Hours for September

Any new teacher who wishes to register with the Feis Office to receive updates and messages about the Feis, please complete the GDPR Consent Form on our website (https://www.feismaitiu.ie/teacher-data-base-update-and-office-hours-for-september/)
and return to the Feis office before Friday, 18th Sept. at the latest for inclusion in the 2027 Feis season.

Any teacher, who wishes to be removed from our data base, please let us know before 18th Sept.

2027 Feis Maitiú SET Syllabus Announced

Any new teachers who wish to register with the Feis please do so before the 25th Sept.

2027 Centenary Feis Dates Announced

The dates for the 2027 Centenary Feis are announced. Please see our website https://www.feismaitiu.ie/2027-centenary-feis-dates-announced/ for the expected schedule. Dates are subject to entries and availability of adjudicators.

Closing date for entries is Thursday, 26th November, 2026.

The Syllabus will be available in September and the Set Syllabus will be announced shortly.

Please note the Feis schedule will be tight and earlier than usual, due to Easter falling early in 2027 and Easter school holidays beginning on the 19th March (some may be as early as 16th).

Return of Outstanding Trophies

The Feis Office will be open on WEDNESDAY, 19TH AUGUST, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm for return of outstanding 2026 Feis Trophies.

34 OUTSTANDING TROPHIES NOT RETURNED

We had 4 open days for Trophies to be returned. Thank you to those who did! And thank you to those who returned by post to the designated address.

The Father Mathew Hall is now closed for the summer period. Those who have Trophies please return by post to the notified address you were given in a recent email.

If returning by POST then please, please bubble wrap the Trophy and return by registered post. An UNWRAPPED Trophy came back last week by post and was broken in transit!!!

The Feis stewards are now at the end of their tether over pleading for Trophies to be returned and are strongly advocating not to give out Trophies in future. This was initially endorsed by the Feis Board at their meeting last week.
