Weird and Wonderful by Haulbowline Theatre Group at SIRIUS

Haulbowline Theatre Group is based in Cobh. They originated as a cultural output for the Irish Naval Services community. Once again this year, they are fundraising for the newly launched Great Island Theatre, housed in the Old Parochial Hall in Cobh. This venue serves all types of performing arts. At SIRIUS, they present Weird and Wonderful, a series of short plays written by Joanne McCall, David McCall and Glenn Kavanagh.

Haulbowline Theatre Group are Delighted to announce that after three nights of readings and despite the cold spell we had, the cast for Big Maggie by John B. Keane and Directed by Michael Brady has been picked (pictured) we had our first table reads last week and Rehearsals will start proper this week. I want to thank everyone who showed up for the readings and a big thank you to those who showed up to be involved back stage. A production of this scale requires a massive amount of behind the scenes work, set design, set build, costumes, props, lighting and sound to name a few. If you are interested in getting involved please message and I will contact you as soon as possible. I also want to give a massive THANK YOU to Blondie and all his staff in Connie Doolans Cobh for the use of their refurbished upstairs, a fantastic rehearsal space. Cast will be introduced over the coming weeks and show dates will be confirmed soon.
