I had a lot of fun creating this online publication. Thank you for taking part in this enjoyable experiment! Big thanks also to for facilitating this exchange.

….

This online publication is a conversation between the artist Aikaterini Gegisian and the writer Sarah Long. The artist emailed images that she has been making to the writer, who responded with a text inspired by the encounter. The artist then responded to that text with a new image and so on. This activity occurred over the course of a week in October 2021.

This email exchange was facilitated by Miguel Amado, director of SIRIUS.

Aikaterini Gegisian was artist-in-residence at SIRIUS in October 2021. Her exhibition ‘Exercises in Speaking Out, Volume 2 (Architecture)’ was running at Triskel Arts Centre during this period. Sarah Long is an artist and writer based in Cork and Glasgow.
