‘Equilibrium Lost’ 50 x 70 cm watercolour, graphite and pen on botanical 300gms 2023
A drawing I finished today for an open call , the subject is climate change and medicine. I’m in the hospital almost every day to see my dad , hence the hospital gowns inspiration , that’s him at the top with the apples and pears motif. At bedtime he’d always say ‘to go up the apple and pears , rest your head on the weeping willow and go little bo peep’ I hadn’t planned on him making an appearance, but there he is , sometimes drawings just have a mind of their own.
