A special visit to Adare Manor Hotel r , a place where heritage, beauty and atmosphere come together so naturally. ✨

My collaboration with Adare Manor began some time ago, rooted in a shared love for place, story and timeless Irish elegance.

Now, something new is quietly taking shape… inspired by landscape, light and what is yet to come. 🌿

Stay tuned. 💙

Some places hold more than history, they hold memory, meaning and the stories of generations.

I was honoured to donate a specially created piece to St. Luke’s Home titled “Cork Stories Held in Stone,” inspired by the St. Fin Barre's Cathedral beauty, history and timeless presence within the city.

I’m very grateful to know it has found a meaningful home. ✨

Under the Wild West Cork Sky captures that quiet moment where the sea meets the sky, the light shifts across the coast, and everything feels beautifully still. 🌊

There is something deeply grounding in this piece, the wildness of West Cork, the softness of Atlantic light, and the sense of peace that comes from standing close to nature. ✨

It reminds us to pause. To breathe. To feel connected to the places that stay with us.

A little piece of West Cork, created to bring beauty, calm and meaning into your home.

What an amazing night at the Network Ireland Cork Businesswoman of the Year Awards ✨

Helping to organise this year’s awards alongside Diane Higgins and Dr. Siobhán Lucey was such an honour, and I’m so grateful to have been part of such a special celebration of women in business across Cork.

Huge congratulations to all of our incredible winners — you are all so deserving and inspirational. 💫💫 Mary Crilly, Founder of the TheSexual Violence Centre (President’s Award), Dawn Holton (Dawn Hotlon Home & Properties), Wendy O’Driscoll (Mitchelsfort Contracting) , Laura Howard (Trinny London), Ciara O’Connell (SolarHill Energy) , Nadine Hughes Campbell (Noah's Adventures), Ciara Crossan (Wedding Dates Ltd.), Louise Kane Buckley (Loula Natural) and Najla Ahmadyar.

A massive thank you to our fantastic Network Cork committee, Conor and all the staff at The Kingsley, MSL Cork Mercedes-Benz, and the wonderful St. Columba’s School Choir who brought such joy and energy to the evening.

A special thank you as well to everyone who donated and supported our raffle in aid of the Children’s Health Foundation. The generosity on the night was incredible and helped raise significant funds for a truly important cause ❤️

And finally, thank you to my incredibly brave cousin Tracy Kilgallon for speaking so beautifully on behalf of the Children’s Health Foundation. Her words were deeply moving and a reminder of the real impact this charity has on families across Ireland.

Such a special night full of connection, support and celebration.

A Little Piece of Home, wherever that may be. A collection of Fine Photography Art inspired by the places that stay with us.

From Cork to Dublin, from the Wild Atlantic Way to quiet coastal corners, each piece captures more than a view. It holds memory, feeling and connection.

For your own home, or as a meaningful gift for someone far away.

Because sometimes, one image is enough to bring you back.

Hi, I’m Sue, founder of Sue Nelson Designs. I create fine art and what I call graphic photography, capturing how people feel about the places that matter most to them.

There is such a deep need for connection, to people, to place, to memory and to identity, especially in a world that moves so quickly.

Because my work is not only about capturing places. It is about capturing what those places mean.
That connection is at the heart of everything I do.

Feeling incredibly grateful to have contributed to this very special installation at St Luke’s Home & Charity 🤍

This collection of 16 pieces was created to celebrate place, memory and connection — using familiar Cork scenes to spark recognition, conversation, storytelling and moments of joy.

Learning more about the role of reminiscence in dementia care throughout this process has been deeply moving. The idea that a photograph can become a doorway to a memory, a feeling, or a shared moment is something that will stay with me.

A huge thank you to everyone at St Luke’s for their warmth and support throughout the project. It was such an honour to create this work for your residents, families and staff.

And a very special thank you to Helen (102) and Noelle (100) for unveiling the collection 🤍✨

Delighted and honoured that Local Enterprise Office South Cork selected beautiful pieces from my collection 'A Little Piece of Home' as their sponsored spot prizes for the Cork County Council Mayor Charity Gala Event held at the Walter Raleigh Hotel ✨

It looked like such a special evening celebrating community, connection and raising funds for three wonderful charities:

🤍 Cancer Connect
🌊 Youghal RNLI
🌻 Down Syndrome Cork

It means so much to know I could help contribute in some small way to causes doing such important work in our communities.

I hope everyone had an amazing night ✨

Greeting Card Collection by Sue Nelson Artist. 💌

Some places stay with us quietly.

A street once walked. A corner that held a conversation. A view that still feels close, even from far away.

My Greeting Card Collection brings together 8 designs, 4 from Dublin and 4 from Cork, each created from my Fine Art Photography and inspired by places filled with memory, colour and connection.

These cards are made for the moments when words alone don’t feel quite enough.
A way to send a place, a feeling, a little piece of home to someone you love, wherever they may be.

Because sometimes, a familiar place can say what the heart already knows.
