The Con Curtin music festival is fast approaching. We have a wonderful lineup organised this year, it’s guaranteed to be a great weekend with plenty Irish Traditional music, song & dance.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our festival launch last night in , what a great night it was. A special thank you to Minister & Councillor Bobby O’Connell and the wonderful musicians who joined us. Roll on the festival on the 26th- 28th June 🎶🎻🪗

We are very excited to feature a launch night to the Con Curtin festival this year. Plenty of ceol agus craic to get excited about the festival. Everyone is welcome. Venue is Kate Pats bar in Brosna on May 29th from 7:30 to 9:30pm.

We would like to thank all that attended our annual AGM last night. Some news from the AGM. The committee selection is now finalised and the members are as follows:
Chairman- Mike Moriarty
Secretary- Philomena Lane
Treasurer- Maria Sheehan
PRO- Shauna Lane.
Lorraine Leahy as Vice Chairman
Joanne O Connor as assistant secretary.
We are also thankful to have the continued help and contribution from Sarah O Keeffe, Eibhlin Healy, Paudie Fitzmaurice, Liz Callaghan and Margaret Curtin to organise the festival.
The committee is looking forward to organising the 2026 Con Curtin Festival on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June. Following the recent success of last years Con Curtin festival, we hope to continue promoting and organising the festival. We hope to improve to deliver a more enjoyable and exciting festival that continues to celebrate Brosna and its deep ties with traditional irish music, song and dance.
