From the shores of the Venetian lagoon to the heart of Clonmel 🎨✨

We are delighted to announce our upcoming exhibition, 'From Chioggia to Clonmel: A selection of Venetian artworks.'

Following an international collaboration in September 2025 when Tipperary artists RATS | Random Artists Tipperary South travelled to Italy, this creative dialogue comes full circle as we bring the cultural heritage of Chioggia to linn gallery. Expect a diverse selection of contemporary styles celebrating this historic coastal fishing town.

🥂 Opening Night: Friday, 23rd October at 6:00 PM

🗓 Dates: 23rd October – 7th November 2026

🕒 Gallery Hours: Wednesday – Saturday, 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM

📍 Location: 1st Floor, The Narrow Space, 14 Mitchell Street, Clonmel, E91 RW24

"Ancient woodlands primarily Oak, Pine and Birch were submerged by rising sea levels after the last Ice Age, leaving preserved tree stumps in intertidal zones.

Ireland has few forests remaining, due to centuries of deforestation; historically with large exports of timber to London after the Great Fire in 1666, agricultural expansion, population growth etc.

Today rising sea levels and coastal development are the primary cause of the depletion and degradation of coastal forests."
