Bog Oak Ireland Bog Oak Ire'and - Unique sculptures, crafted from wood more than 5,000 years old, these are pieces o All Bog Oak is sourced in the Clare area.

Joe O'Shea has worked on Bog Oak for over 30 years mainly as a hobby. After attending a start your own business course in 2010, Joe decided to turn his hobby into a business. Since starting up the business, he has sculptured a number of commissioned pieces for prominent Irish people. As well as bespoke pieces, he also sculptures award pieces, which are all contemporary and hand carved, e.g. Limeri

ck Chamber of Commence, 2012 Business Awards and 2011 Atlantic Way Food Awards. Pieces are currently for sale in Dromoland Castle. Joe O'Shea's sculptures have been received very well and because each piece is unique, once off, and the Bog Oak is carbon dated to 5,000 – 6,000 years old, this has an added dimension to each sculpture.
