The year was 1986 when Feile hurling first came to Clare. Irish President Patrick Hillery was in Cusack Park Ennis to witness Wolfe Tones na Sionna GAA Club and Cratloe GAA Club capture the division 1 and division 2 under 14 All Ireland hurling championships.
