🖐✍️Production Underway

I’m excited to share that production has now begun on a bespoke, secure leather pouch I was commissioned to design and develop for the **Royal Ballet and Opera (RBO) Sound, Video & Broadcast Department**.

Over the past three months, i have carefully designed, refined and prototyped the pouch to securely accommodate the **Riedel Bolero wireless intercom system**, used by backstage crew and staff for communications throughout the RBO.

From the initial concept through to prototyping, the focus has been on creating something that is practical, durable and purpose-built for the demands of a busy backstage environment.

Today production started and over the next few weeks I will be turning three months of design and development into the finished pieces.

More to come as the project takes shape.

Upskilling Day!

Today I had the pleasure of taking part in a leather tooling course with Philippa Davidson Leather, exploring techniques and refining skills in the ancient craft of leather tooling.

Tooling is something I've always enjoyed and regularly incorporate into my work to personalise pieces and create unique, one-of-a-kind designs. Beyond decoration, leather tooling has a rich history, serving as a symbol of craftsmanship, resilience, identity, and cultural heritage for generations.
