Happy Christmas from the Jigs to Jacobites crew!

We are sorry that we were unable to do sales leading up to Christmas. We will be launching an eBook version of Jigs to Jacobites early 2021 and will restart book sales via the website then also.

The Jigs to Jacobites crew are getting excited for our upcoming trip to Finland! It will be our first performance of the Jigs to Jacobites concert at Kangasala Irish Festival. https://kangasala-talo.fi/tapahtumat/kangasala-irish-festival-jigs-to-jacobites/ Orfhlaith and Mick will be joined on stage by Maija Koskenalusta on piano, and two-time world champion dancer Ruairi McCabe. The concert may be live-streamed. Details to follow if it is!

Ronan is currently writing a novel based on the life of the famous Irish music collector, Francis O'Neill. We researched about O'Neill as part of Jigs to Jacobites and his is a fascinating story. Ronan's book will be a novel of biographical fiction on Chief O'Neill's life. What a great idea! Can't wait to read Ronan's novel once its published. We're proud to announce the opening of our interactive exhibition of the Jigs to Jacobites illustrations at Íontas Arts Centre in Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan. This is in conjunction with Tradoodle Traditional Arts Festival for Children. Images from the book are accompanied by their stories and QR codes link to publicly available YouTube videos of each set dance being danced or played. The exhibition runs from 6th October to 30th November. Mick will also be hosting a demonstration of illustration at the Tradoodle Festival Family Fun Day on October 14th at Íontas.
