In celebration of World Refugee Week 2026, we are teaming up with Castlebar Library for this month's Linenhall Book Club, at 7pm next Tue 16 June, at the library.

This month's featured book is 'The girl who smiled beads' by Clemantine Wamariya and Elizabeth Weil.

A New York Times bestseller, it is a "riveting story of dislocation, survival, and the power of stories to break or save us." 

The book's message is in line with the this year's theme of World Refugee Week - courage.

Babies (and their grown-ups) listen up! We have the most gorgeous music event for you at the Linenhall on Fri 12 June, to celebrate Mayo infant and baby week, supported by .

Led by Julianne Hennelly, this will be an interactive musical event in a relaxed and inclusive space to inspire a love of music and song in children under 2 yo and their parents and carers.

Stageworld Performing Arts summer camps are back by popular demand!

This summer they will be running Musical Theatre workshops from 10am – 1.30pm, Monday, 29th June to Friday, 3rd July inclusive at the Linenhall.

Presented by singer and vocal coach, Anne Marie Gibbons along with Australian actor, theatre maker and entertainer Andrew Thomas, this is a summer camp not to be missed.

All attendees will participate in a dancing, singing and drama workshop each day, culminating in a showcase performance on Friday 3rd July.

Attendees are grouped into age categories and the camp is open to those aged between 5 and 16.

So, if you love to SING, DANCE or ACT this is the camp for you!
