We are very excited to announce that Chapter 1 of 'If Anyone Asks..' is now available for all our Patrons on Project 42! This six-part series was the most ambitious undertaking of Studio42 HUB yet! So many incredible writers and actors took part in this very special project. It was a privilege to make and we were all so thrilled with the response from the community. It is amazing to bring this series back to you through Project 42!

Hi guys, Rehan here!
I am so excited to announce that we have an open casting call for any young local actors or those who aspire to be actors for our new film 'Water Under The Bridge'. The short film will be produced in Carrick-on-Suir later this Summer and we are looking for young people interested in portraying local teenagers, aged 15-17. The film is being made for Virgin Media Television and we would love to have local representation in the film. So please share with anyone who you think may be interested!
I am thrilled to be able to come back to Carrick this Tuesday, June 1st, with my production team, Greg and Ronan of Carbonated Comet Productions, to scout locations and just begin developing a plan of action! If you are interested, it would be great to get a response before June 1st!

To thank our Patreon Project42 patrons for their continued support we are running a little competition exclusively for you!

It is a 'Flash Fiction - Bite Sized Stories' Competition inspired by a piece of Art by one of the Tudor Artisan Hub Artists.

Our first Flash Fiction competition's story prompt is 'Living the Dream' artwork by artist Tony Oakey.

𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:

1. Each story should be no more than 100 words (not incl title)
2. Story should be the writer's own work and previously unpublished
3. Please submit to [email protected] as a .docx attachment with 'Bite Sized Stories' in the subject line
4. Submit story without any identifying information, i.e. without the writer's name on the doc
5. Deadline for submissions is midnight on Sunday 21st February
6. Winner to be announced Friday 26th February

Winner takes home a special limited edition 8" x 10" mounted and signed print of the artwork with a special message from the artist

Winning story will be announced and posted up on Project42 and Tudor Artisan Hub page

All entries will be published on Patreon Project42 platform

Our first music video 'Fighting for everyone'

Hi there Project42 Patrons, before August closes out, we just wanted to share this mixed media short Music Video that we produced last summer - it was very special as it was our first Music Video...it was created by local Hub Art Students, Carrick on Suir in conjunction with Digital Animation Students from LIT, Clonmel Campus who were on work experience with the Hub...this initiative was part of a collaborative 'Co-create Woodstock50 Art Installation project' between writers, songwriters and visual artists as part of the Arts Trail Clancy Brothers Music and Arts Festival, Carrick on Suir 2019.

The song was written by Daragh McLoughlin, composed and arranged by singer/songwriter Jane Barton Mcloughlin, Vocals and Guitar, Jane McLoughlin

The creator and director of the video was young emerging artist Laura Regan. Laura was also the storyboard Artist for the video. The Animation panels were created by artists Mira Grude and Megan Roberts, Digital Animation Production, LIT Clonmel Campus. The amazing actors for the live panels were Ruaidhrí Lynch, Corey O'Dwyer and Liam Hogan. Filmed by Patrice M Cooney. The video editors included Rehan Ali, Patrice Cooney, Laura Regan, Daragh McLoughlin and Linda Fahy, The make-up Artist was also Laura Regan.

In September we plan to sit down with Laura Regan and her team and find out about the making of this fabulous unique music video...so stay tuned.
