Every year when I watch Snooker in the Crucible in Sheffield.

I remember back to 2010 when Jason Devaney from Mayo won the Junior Pot Black live on BBC TV.

Fantastic 🇮🇪🏆🇮🇪 memory and something that I will never forget in coaching Jason Devaney to win it.

Having my mentor Terry Griffiths present the cup to Jason made it even more special.

My 147academy had the pleasure of training Haikel Abouda from Tunisia in the SBI Academy in Carlow, Ireland this week. His passion was fantastic, and he worked very hard on developing good fundamentals and learning my Academy drills.
My 147academy wishes Haikel good luck and I hope to see him back in Ireland in future.

Great session with 11year old Irish Junior International player Callum Behan in the SBI HQ in Carlow this week.

Watch the action by this talented player from Dublin who is the current U-12 National Champion and No.1 in the 14’s rankings at present.

We worked on his Scoring, Safety and Technique in the session. Well done Callum !!!

Last week, I had the pleasure of holding another coaching and training camp in the SBI Academy of Excellence in Carlow for 15-year-old Lukas Stötzer from Linz in Austria. Lukas travelled with his dad to improve his game ahead of the new season.

I was so impressed by this young talented player in every session and it was an honour to work with him again. I believe he can develop to be one of the leading top European juniors in the next few years.
