Seán Collins , live at Cahersiveen Folk Fest.

Raw, honest talent. Performing his original song “The Cost of Silence” — a powerful piece centred on mental health and the reality of dealing with it.
A beautifully written song, delivered with real weight.

This is what the Folk Fest is about — bringing top-quality acts to Cahersiveen and creating moments that stick with you.
Big shout out to all the sponsors who make it happen, especially Walsh's Supervalu Cahersiveen Cahersiveen.

And a special mention to Darragh Lynch on sound — making these headline acts sound as good as they deserve.
More to come.

The beach, the music, the language… this is what Cahersiveen is all about 🇮🇪🌊

A special moment from the Cahersiveen Folk Festival — Dave delivering a powerful performance as Gaeilge, right on the shoreline. Raw, authentic, and something you don’t get just anywhere.
This highlights video captures the atmosphere perfectly — the sound of the waves, the crowd, and the Irish language alive and thriving.

Cahersiveen isn’t just hosting events… it’s building something bigger — a real hub for Irish culture, music, and community.

Huge credit to all the sponsors who make this possible, especially Walsh's Supervalu Cahersiveen Cahersiveen for their continued support 👏
More moments like this to come — we’re only getting started.

Out of respect for the Cournane Family, the open sessions scheduled for this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon in Mike Murts have been cancelled. Our thoughts are with the family and friends at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

“I didn’t think I’d have much in common with you, I thought there’d just be this ‘lovely girl’ who sang this song I love… but-“

“Like an irreverent angel”

Just a couple of my favourite bits of post-gig feedback this past while 😂❤️
