What a bewitching land! Have you ever heard of Burren? Almost 35miles away from Galway city as you meander through this undulating landscape one can come across Europe's I would say 'pretty unique' landscape called Burren. Further as you go ahead and explore this landscape one will be amazed at how the landscape just changes and looks even more magnificent. And there is a reason it comes under the auspices of 'Special area of Conservation'.

We had such glimpses of Burren, gliding along between its grassy banks, of cosy cottages buried in flowers and shrubbery of quaint old red tiled villages with a mossy medieval cathedral looming out amidst wooded hills with ivy covered towers. We were awed by visions of this fabled fairyland!

Just few more days to Christmas!☃❄️ The festivities have just begun.
Towards nightfall, we saw the dying sunlight gild the towers and it's clustering spires and ramparts, and flood it's leagues of environing verdure with a mellow radiance that touched the skyline

The Christmas market was lit up, and looked so pretty against the skyline.✨

All day long we sped through a mountainous country whose peaks were bright with sunshine, whose hillsides were dotted with pretty villas sitting in the midst of gardens and shrubbery, whose deep ravines were cool and shady and looked ever so inviting.
What a wonder it is! So grand, so solemn yet so delicate and graceful.

This was during our field trip to Ballynahinch, where we went to see the famous Greenway project that has raised some concern for environmentalists who are looking at it's possible impact on biodiversity. Being a sustainable resource management student it's difficult to come to a consensus on what future it possibly holds, but definitely having the proposed cycle route open to public was a good move and as quoted by someone who recently visited. "The Greenway changed my way of seeing life. I started to ride and never stopped".

I also will be writing more in detail about Ireland more from a student oriented perspective, so do check my writing on .wordpress.com/blog/

Any feedback, suggestions are welcome. Thank you!😊

It is wonderfully beautiful! You gaze , and stare and try to understand that it is real. But your brain grows giddy, stupefied by the world of exquisite beauty around you, and you half believe you are the dupe of an exquisite dream.

As I start over with my new blog, wanted to share something which left me enamoured at how this looked like a painting.💫 Also as this is totally a new threshold for me, will appreciate feedback on my content. Thank you!😊
