The first of two shows on Thursday evening saw the awesome Ailish McCarthy performing 'Me, Myself and Ireland' in The Harbour Bar. A great turnout for a great performance and a pleasure, as always, to support the rising stars of Irish comedy.

Big thanks to everyone who came along to support the show and of course to Ailish for bringing it to our stage.

Hardy Har Comedy Club is delighted to welcome two of Ireland's most promising Irish acts back to for a night of double Edinburgh previews, as and take to our stage.

These previews will completely FREE ADMISSION courtesy of The Harbour Bar.

Sophia, rancid bin-princess and ‘main character of the world,’ remembers a teenagehood spent fantasizing about injuries that would earn her the attention she craved. Now an adult trapped inside her own damsel-in-distress mythology, her life veers into absurdity when a hurricane in New York City leaves her mysteriously pregnant. Thirteen years later, Sophia faces another adolescence unfolding against a world set ablaze by powerful men and collapsing ideals. A love letter to the Best Girl in the World, this story unfolds through Sophia’s dark, lyrical, hilariously filthy stand-up comedy.

Louise O’Toole is a lot, even for herself. As a single pringle, her life is turning out a lot less She’s All That and a little more She’s a Bit Much, Actually. The self-proclaimed Auntie Hero is back, parentless and jobless to boot – and she’s wondering if AI or the algorithm can predict how the crisp is going to crumble. Surely there’s a 90s rom-com ending coming soon. ‘Side-splitting relatable wit’ (The Student).

Two great acts. One fantastic night.

Pop the date in your diary. MONDAY, JULY 27. THE HARBOUR BAR.
