A brilliant evening at the theatre watching Blood Brothers, with my friend Dom delivering a standout performance as cover for Mickey. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Dom on three productions through and pantomimes Uk, including Peter Pan at Crewe Lyceum alongside Cannon & Ball/Chico. I later invited him to join the ensemble for Sleeping Beauty with Amelia Lily, and then as Dance Captain for Cinderella at the New Hull Theatre starring Lee Mead. Seeing him flourish on stage fills me with pride, knowing the talent I’ve worked with is achieving great success. It’s a testament to the power of nurturing talent and the rewards that come from investing in others. Take a bow 💙

Biog:
Éadaoin Mairead McKenna began her dance training at age four with Shannon Dance Academy, completing her RAD graded exams. She later joined the McDermott School of Classical Ballet and Dance, where she achieved her RAD Intermediate level. As a teen, she performed with Youth Ballet West in The Nutcracker, eventually becoming rehearsal assistant in 2020.

From 2012, Éadaoin began assisting Judith Sibley and Trisha McDermott, before pursuing further training at Inchicore College in 2016. There, she studied various dance styles, earned her ISTD Intermediate qualification, and travelled to Vienna through Erasmus to attend ImPulzTanz.

After college, Éadaoin taught ballet, contemporary, and jazz across Ireland in schools such as Turning Point, McDermott School, and Shannon Dance Academy. She has delivered workshops, summer schools, and inclusive classes, supporting productions along the way. She is now Principal of the Mullingar Arts Centre School of Classical Ballet.
