We were delighted to have our very own D15 Youth Theatre perform their biennial performance this past weekend...

Who will save the world? Ladybirds or Beetles?
Created from their own improvised thoughts and words, carefully supported and directed by Eimear Morrissey and Alexandra Conlon, with choreography by Mark Rogers.

A huge thank you and congratulations to our wonderful D15YT members, their friends, family, D15YT facilitatiors Eimear Morrissey and Alexandra Conlon, Choreographer Mark Rogers and the whole team in Draíocht for making space for the magic of D15YT.

Special thanks to Alan King from Youth Theatre Ireland for attending.

In celebration of their 40th Birthday, Rough Magic Theatre Company in partnership with Draíocht will give 40 pairs of free tickets to young audiences in the Dublin 15 area for their production of FREEFALLING by Georgina Miller

FREEFALLING is a daring aerial trapeze act, telling the true story of a near death experience. It’s theatre, but not like you’ve seen it before. ⁠

This opportunity is for those aged 14 to 24 years, who live in the Dublin 15 area, have a budding interest in theatre, circus or live performance and who would like to see FREEFALLING, on Thursday 10 October 2024 at 8pm with a parent, friend or guardian.⁠

And that's a wrap on 2024 Folks!

We were delgihted to come together last night for a special exchange of work between D15 Youth Theatre and Winter Youth Dance Club.

We worked in groups to create freeze frames inspired by Christmas...

We are delighted to be attending the annual IPB Pride of Place Awards, Fingal County Council nominated us for the Creative Place category.

In September Judges Peter Hynes and Katrina Murphy received a presentation about our work from Director Emer McGowan and Children & Youth Arts Officer Sarah Beirne which was followed by a meet and greet with the members and facilitators of our Create Dance and Dublin 15 Youth Theatre.

Wishing the best of luck to Broadmeadow Community Garden Group & Garristown Community Council, the two other groups representing Fingal County Council's Community Development Department.
