Please Share and Support Keash Village Enhancement on completion of our Community Park!

It is with great delight that we the team at Keash Village Enhancement are moving forward with the planning of Phase 2 for our community Park.
We are looking to fundraise 40% of the cost of the Project through gofund.com. ( https://gofund.me/8f861081 ). Over the last 18 months we all know the importance of having such a fine facility as the playground in our community and we now wish to enhance the community Park even more. We ask all that use the playground, visit the area or has family living here or living abroad to please donate to this amazing project. A 30 minute walk up to seventeen limestone caves with fabulous views of the Sligo countryside! ✨

There are many legends associated with the caves of Keash, one of which is the story of Cormac Mac Art the most famous of the legendary kings of Ireland .

Cormac was born at a well beneath the caves. While his mother slept Cormac was carried off by a wolf whose den was in a cave now known as Cormac’s cave. Cormac was discovered years later playing on all fours outside the caves with wolf Cubs !

Cormac went onto be the famous high king of Ireland ! ☘️🇮🇪
