✨ Hands-on History: Kids’ Stained-Glass Workshop! 🎨🪟

Join Scéal Heritage on Friday, 21 August at St Mary’s Abbey Church, Ballyhaunis for a fun, FREE stained-glass workshop!

👧 10:30am–11:15am: Ages 3–8
🧒 2pm–2:45pm: Ages 7–12

Learn about the history of stained glass and the 15th-century Augustinian Friary, then create your own colourful masterpiece! 🌈

Foundations of a Friary
Join in at The Friary (St. Mary’s Abbey), Ballyhaunis on Saturday, 22 August 2026, for a fascinating one-day symposium exploring the friary’s foundation and early history.

Hear from a fantastic line-up of speakers on Ballyhaunis in the Middle Ages, the Augustinian friars in pre-Reformation Ireland, medieval Augustinian architecture, and the Augustinian presence in Ballyhaunis and beyond.

All proceeds go towards the Friary Preservation Fund.
