Are you ready to take the stage at the Ballina Salmon Festival Busking Competition 2026?

Whether you're a solo singer-songwriter, a talented instrumentalist, a duo, trio, band, or performer of any genre, we'd love to hear you.

We're inviting musicians from near and far to join us along the streets of Ballina for a fantastic week of music and entertainment.

🌊 MOY SWIM 2026 – 18th July 🌊

Dive into one of Ireland’s oldest and most iconic river swims, set in the beautiful River Moy in Ballina, Co. Mayo as part of the Ballina Salmon Festival.

Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just looking to take part in something special, there’s an option for everyone:
🏊‍♂️ 2.5km Competitive Swim
🏊‍♀️ 600m Participation Swim

With categories for both wetsuit and skin swimmers, this event welcomes all levels and celebrates a shared love of open water and the coast.

Timing chips and swim hats can be collected at the Kennedy Glasgow Centre on the 18th July from 9am – 12pm.
