✨ First Competition: A Mix of Nerves & Triumphs! ✨

No matter the age – 7 or 70 – a dancer’s first competition is always a huge step! It’s a whirlwind of excitement, joy, and sometimes a little apprehension.

As your coach at Rura Dance Academy I’ve seen it all:

Some get overwhelmed by the new environment. 🤯

Others perform only a fraction of what they master in class. 🤷‍♀️

Some, surprisingly, shine like they’ve been on stage forever! 🌟

And yes, sometimes a few steps get forgotten... and that’s perfectly okay! 😅

My main goal is to be right there with you. To be your rock. To support every dancer, no matter the outcome. This experience is invaluable – it teaches resilience, growth, and moving forward.

Movement is life, and not just on the dance floor. 🌍 My philosophy. ✨

For me, movement isn’t just about dance; it’s the very essence of life itself. If I feel three months pass and I’m stuck in one place – it starts to weigh on me. I desperately need a change of scenery, to experience new emotions, to find inspiration and keep moving forward.

That’s why I prefer even short, but incredibly valuable ‘recharges.’ This year, I’ve had four such small but vivid trips that filled me with energy. It’s not just a change of location; it’s a way to recharge, discover something new, and return with even greater enthusiasm for my projects and students.

The Dance Floor: Where Fear Transforms into Art ✨

Every time you step onto the dance floor, you gather yourself bit by bit. 💪 Inside, excitement might be raging, but there’s one task: to dance with emotions as if fear doesn’t exist. 🎭 It’s pure magic – showing confidence and joy while hiding immense inner work. 🤫

I look at our Emilia, dancing this captivating Samba 💃, and it’s like seeing myself at 16. 🕰️ I remember stepping onto the floor, thinking everyone danced better than me, 🥺 running to my mom afterwards with: ‘Mom, did you see them?!’ 👀 But, thankfully, most times I kept going further and further, reaching the finals. 🚀

That’s exactly what I see in my student now. 🌟 It’s an incredible journey where doubts wrestle with talent, and every step forward is a small victory. 🏆 But oh, how precious are those moments when she takes first place, and those happy, victorious eyes! 🥇🤩

With experience comes not only skill but something invaluable – the ability to dance for pure enjoyment. 🎉 This isn’t given freely; it’s true freedom, earned through persistent hard work and self-belief. ✨

My Journey to a Dream: From Doubt to Calling ✨

For a long time, I lived with the thought that I was ‘not good enough’ to create my own... Until my heart whispered: it’s time! ❤️

How often do we stand in the shadow of others’ successes, admiring the courage of those who dared to step forward? I was one of them. I watched people who, seemingly with less experience, confidently started their own ventures, while inside I whispered: ‘Me? My own academy? No, I’m just not good enough...’ This feeling is probably familiar to many.

But, it seems, there are moments when the soul simply cannot stay silent. About a year ago, something changed. I gathered not just my will, but all my faith in my calling. Preparations began for my Rura Dance Academy – a project that seemed like such a distant dream. It was a real, exhausting marathon of documents and countless unanswered questions. 🤯

And then, the miracle: in just 8 months, I already have about 30 students! Each of them – from the youngest dancers to adults – has become a part of our dance family. Seeing their shining eyes in training, I realize: all those doubts were merely steps on the path to this incredible joy, and this journey itself is my most precious achievement. If you too are standing on the threshold of a dream, gripped by fear, allow yourself to take that first, most important step. It is definitely worth it. 💪
