Athventure is on the road again! This time we're headed to DARECon

Stop by the Neverending Gory table on Wednesday and join the creators Mark and Jonathan!

Have a bit of free time and looking for a quick 5e fix? Fan of blood-drenched combat played out at ludicrous speed? Like the idea of being rewarded for stabbing your buddy?

Then welcome to The Never Ending Gory!

The Never Ending Gory is a fast, frantic D&D 5e battle royale where every kill - monsters and other Player Characters included - earns you Kill Points.

There’s no sign-up and no lengthy commitment. Just take a seat, draw a random character and get killing!

When you die - and you will die - your Kill Points are totaled and your score is added to the leaderboard. Then simply make way for the next unfortunate adventurer and get on with the rest of your day.

Think you can do better? Come back later and have another go!

When & Where

The Never Ending Gory will be running across two drop-in sessions in the Pheasant on Saturday 17th October:

Morning/Afternoon: 10:00–13:00 Evening: 16:00–21:00

There’s no need to book a particular time - just drop in during either session whenever you have some time to kill and see how long you can survive.

The Never Ending Gory: 1% survival. 99% fun.

📣Calling all talkers with knowledge to share!📣

Our sign-up form for panels, talks, demos and workshops is OPEN!

Small groups and hands on learning is a key focus this year, so if you have a skill you want to share - fill out that proposal form in the comments below 👇

Painters, crafters, makers and cosplayers - please teach us your ways!

We will of course still have space for panels and talks, so if you're keen to participate or if you have a topic you want to cover, the form is for you too 📣

DEADLINE: Oct 24th

📣Merchant applications are closing on Friday!📣

Once again we are blown away by the number of vendors and artists that have applied, so are closing up soon. If you fancy vending with us for AthVentureCon 5, apply today! It's up in the bio 👆

As a cosy little con, we know we don't have the footfall of so many others, so we are always incredibly thankful to all of you that still want to join us for a weekend in February ❤️

Oooh what's this... A new logo?!

Why do we change our logo every year? Well, because AthVentureCon is a fundraiser for a youth club full of talented artists!

This year they gave us so much amazing art to work with that we couldn't fit it all into the logo. Don't worry though! You'll see them across socials and our merch 😉

And can you believe this is AthVentureCon V? F-I-V-E!

Hellloooooo Merchants!!

Are you a maker, creator or seller of all things geeky, gamer, whimsical, fantastical or....amazing?

We are now accepting applications for our vendor spots for AthVentureCon 5!!

The link to sign up and get details is below in the comments, but the highlights are:

🗓️ 20-21 February 2027 Lough Rea Hotel & Spa in Loughrea, Galway

🚫No AI or drop shipping

🪙 €30 for 4ft table/ €60 for 6ft table for the weekend

🫂 Unfortunately we have severely limited space and every year we have to turn away some INCREDIBLE artists and creatives. We aren't first come first served because we try to make sure there's as much variety as possible. So please know, if you aren't chosen, it isn't because you aren't wonderful and we will keep you on a wait-list should something pop up!

💚 AthVentureCon is ultimately a youth club charity fundraiser for Athenry Adventurers RPG Club ENTIRELY run by volunteers. Please keep that in mind - be kind and keep it family friendly 😉

So what are you waiting for? Sign up now!

While it's all fresh, we would LOVE to hear from as many people as possible.

You can find the link to our Feedback Survey down in the comments!

Should there be an Ath-V-entureCon (maybe we'll workshop that some more 😉) we want to make sure it's as good as possible for everyone. ❤️
