Tonight is a big night for our Ducks and Swans!

🎈🎶 30 years of Fundraising for the community.🎶🎈

It all started with the Ducks and Swans but since has grown to include other good causes.
Tonight will be no different as we fundraise for another worthy cause.🎶🎈

Registration night for music and singing classes.

CCÉ Athea will host our music and singing registration night from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in Batts Bar on Thursday 3rd September 2026.
We look forward to meeting new and returning students for the coming year.
If you are unable to attend, please send a message, and we will accommodate registration in an alternative way.

Please note: Music and singing lessons begin on September 17th in Batts Bar. All students will need a display folder and their instrument of choice.

Thank you to one and all who came out to provide music, song and dance yesterday, Sunday August 23rd 2026. We were blessed to have fabulous weather to have our BBQ and session.
Thank you to Jer Keane on sound and to all our musician and singers along with a very special thank you to our junior musicians and singers from our classes that joined on bodhrán and tin whistles.
A huge thank you to the fabulous dancers, Rachel, Sarah, Alice and Caoimhe who provided wonderful step and sean nós dancing.
Massive thank you Jack and Noreen on BBQ duties and all the cce committee who put out bunting and chairs.

Congratulations to all who competed at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann and a massive congratulations to those who were prize winners at the fleadh in Belfast also.

It is a huge achievement to get that far in the competitions and an honour to not only represent your county but your province also at the biggest music festival and competitions of the year.

We at CCÉ Athea are delighted to congratulate our music tutor Micheal Broderick on winning 1st place in the O18 Senior mandolin competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann this past weekend in Belfast.
Micheál not only won his mandolin competition but also placed 3rd in O18 senior banjo. Returning home with 1 all Ireland placing is a difficult task, but returning home with 2 is mighty achievement.

Micheál represented county Limerick and Munster at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, and was honoured in receiving these placing amongst a very high standard of traditional musicianship that was to be heard on the day at these competitions from those from all over Ireland, the UK and America.
