What a wonderful weekend we had! Donal Ryan held us spellbound with his fireside reading and Magi Gibson's writing workshops really got under the skin and produced some amazing results. Just bid au revoir to the lovely Denyse Woods. She is off to the University of Shanghai to be their Writer in Residence this Autumn. A big welcome to Magi Gibson, the hugely experienced tutor joining us for the 20-22nd Sept Writers' Weekend, fresh from her sell-out 'Wild Women' workshops at the West Cork Literary Festival. One place left if you'd like to treat yourself to the creative writing course with the unique houseparty atmosphere!

Another coup for the September 21-23rd writers' weekend! Ireland's foremost literary agent, Jonathan Williams, will be joining us for 'How to Get Published" on Sunday. Representing many of the best-known names in the business and famed for his skill as an editor, Jonathan also teaches on the Creative Writing Masters programme at Trinity College and is a champion of Irish writing worldwide.
Just add in best-selling novelist Denyse Woods and guest author Kevin Barry for a truly talented team of tutors!

STOP PRESS! The wonderful Kevin Barry will be performing a special short-story reading at the Sept 21 writers' weekend for National Culture Night!
The Limerick-born author bagged an incredible £30,000 Literary award in Oxford this year, shortly after he was our guest writer last Autumn. Our Spring guest, Christine Dwyer Hickey, went on to win 'Irish Novel of the Year' at Listowel Writers' Week and Claire Kilroy has a new novel out this month - her fifth! - called "The Devil I Know".
