SAVE THE DATE ✨️

It's now 2 weeks until our Nature Festival, and although the weather isn't looking great at the moment (massive understatement), I'm hopeful that things will brighten up 🤞
Next week we'll be sharing details of all the organisations that are coming along on the day, but today we're highlighting our face painter! They will be on site from 12pm until 3pm, so come along and get your face painted for free, just don't get in my way as I intend to be first in the queue 😄

Painting Afternoon with Berr: to celebrate starting school and the free Little Library Bags In-Person

We have a very fun afternoon of face painting Face Painting Party With Berr in the library, to celebrate starting school this year. So why not come to the library to borrow some books, get your face painted and collect you FREE library tote bag.



This free little library bag is for all children starting school this year and is free to collect from your local library.

The Little Library Bag Project is a national early literacy initiative that provides free book bags to young children and families, helping to foster a love of reading and strengthen connections with local libraries. The project supports children's language, literacy, and school-readiness skills by encouraging families to read together and engage with library services from an early age.

The initiative was developed as part of the First 5 Strategy and is a collaboration between the Department of Children, Disability and Equality, the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, and Libraries Ireland/Local Government Ireland.
