Congratulations to the Academy band on winning in the National band competition in Ardee. Not only first prize also best brass section, best March and best piece of choice. What an achievement. Well done to our conductor Francesca and every band member.

The Irish association of Brass and Concert Bands National Band Championships takes place this Saturday 9th May in the Bohemian Centre, Ardee

18 bands from across the country including our very own Ardee Concert Band and Ardee Intermezzo Ensemble, are landing in Ardee to compete in a number of different competition sections in the day-long event from 9.30am.

All are welcome to attend to watch the competition & to experience a high level of musicianship from across the country.
