A truly amazing portrait I commissioned of a woman on the cusp of The Great Hunger 1845-52 by multi award winning Irish artist Catherine Creaney. The painting is full of symbolism, she is holding a blighted potato, we see the impoverished mud cabin in the background and the lazy beds. She has gaunt features and is wearing the traditional Irish shawl. The Truth Behind The Irish Famine, signed copies only at WWW.JERRYMULVIHILL.COM
