Call your dentist, the Sweet Tooth has arrived… Our newest performance asym twin from Vincent Brecqueville at Break Shapes, the Sweet Tooth is all about holding speed and sweet, sharp surfing.
This is a board with a toe rail that runs edgier, a single concave feeding into a slight double vee off the fins, with a long rocker curve from front foot to tail. It’s got more of a parallel, twinny outline that keeps speed alive through the bottom turn. The heel rail is fuller and more forgiving, concave running deeper into its double, a touch of vee in the last 4 inches, rocker concentrated more between the feet, and a shorter, pulled-in tail that gives the board pivot right where you need it. With a round nose for an easy paddle and parallel rails that pack a longer outline into a smaller package, the Sweet Tooth features a swallow tail rounded off for smoothness without losing the pop, with a heel-side an inch shorter to push the fins forward for that intuitive rail-to-rail feel.
Rides best on a vertical twin setup, add a small trailer fin offset toward the toe for extra hold. An everyday board at its best in 3 to 6 feet and built to match your level.
