ده‌ سال قبل وقت به اندونیزیا امدم، زبان انگلیسی مه در سرحد خیلی ابتدایی بود و تصور نمیکردم، که بتوانم زبان اندونیزیایی را یک روز یاد بگیرم. تلاش کردم و جواب داد.
حالا اما در بالی در کنار آموزش هنرهای رزمی به صورت خصوصی، زبان اندونیزیایی را به دوستان خارجی خودم درس میدهم، و همچنان زبان انگلیسی را به دوستان اندونیزیایی. میخواهم بگویم «داشته را بکار آید»
هر چه بیشتر یاد بگیری، به همان اندازه درآمد کسب میکنی

From the Green Hell to Paradise. 🌿
Refugees call Indonesia the “Green Hell.” Not because of its beauty — but because of what it does to the people trapped inside it.
No work. No study. No travel. No bank account. Not even a SIM card in your own name. Just waiting. Indefinitely. With your dreams slowly suffocating.
I arrived here as a teenager fleeing war in Afghanistan with my mother. We paid everything we had to a smuggler just to reach Indonesia — hoping it would lead us to our family in Australia. UNHCR promised us hope and delivered nothing but lies.
So I refused to waste away.
I volunteered as an English teacher for three years. I worked as an interpreter. I laid bricks as a construction worker. I wrote content from 8am to 5pm for almost nothing. I ran private English classes just to keep my mother and myself alive — all while being told I had no right to exist in the economy.
And through all of it — I was also paying for my mother’s medication. Alone. With no insurance. No support. No system.
On June 8, 2024 — she left this world.
The most beautiful and kindest soul I have ever known. A woman who only had one dream — to see all her children together one last time. That dream was never fulfilled. And that will stay with me forever.
I gave her a proper ceremony. I stayed forty days to honor her the way she deserved. Then I packed what little I had and came to Bali — not knowing a single person here.
I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. Canggu wasn’t easy for me at first. But I trained hard. I found real friends at the gym.Friends who tested me, trusted me, and opened doors for me.
I coached boxing, Muay Thai and kickboxing. I worked as an executive assistant. I created content. I helped anyone who needed it — because helping is the only currency I was legally allowed to spend.
And through every single moment of it — there was only one thing I was certain of.
God has never left my side. Not in Afghanistan. Not in the Green Hell. Not in Bali. He has been my only true source of strength when everything else was taken from me.
I am not afraid of what comes next.
Because I have already survived what most people cannot imagine. And I am just getting started.
