I did a few tasks today. Before I left my desk, I said to myself,
“thank you for completing this, this, this, and this.”
Now I’m writing a caption for another or on my bed, enjoying some hours left before today become tomorrow’s. I wonder why did I choose my side profile than my front look at the first place? Did I feel shy to show my full face? Or it was just a technical? To draw an eye instead of two, avoiding imbalance jaw, and clear expression?
Then I remember why. I drew my very first post of this series in a state of liberation. I walked. Moving forward and in a few odd times, backward I can tell. But always a move. Sometimes it feels like in a rush. With nobody actually rushing me. Maybe actually I rushes myself. It’s all in my head. The scenarios I build push me to reach that scene. Is it worth it? I am not even sure. Some push prove me right, some left me a bit disappointed. But I just don’t want to feel sorry for staying and not trying. For the experiences in life 🍻
Do you feel like you push yourself enough? Or maybe we should take a rest and sip a cup of peach tea in the morning under the tree?
