I always wonder how far an artwork could go. so I stretched my passion project, drawings into a new medium: a stopmotion video. Inspired by “MOVE MOVE” mv directed by (please watch! とてもかっこいい!)

itself are so personal that i found this song matches my current phase of life. Hope you enjoy! 🍀

P.S. also hope that I can see Ako in live concert one day!~~~

I did a few tasks today. Before I left my desk, I said to myself,
“thank you for completing this, this, this, and this.”

Now I’m writing a caption for another or on my bed, enjoying some hours left before today become tomorrow’s. I wonder why did I choose my side profile than my front look at the first place? Did I feel shy to show my full face? Or it was just a technical? To draw an eye instead of two, avoiding imbalance jaw, and clear expression?

Then I remember why. I drew my very first post of this series in a state of liberation. I walked. Moving forward and in a few odd times, backward I can tell. But always a move. Sometimes it feels like in a rush. With nobody actually rushing me. Maybe actually I rushes myself. It’s all in my head. The scenarios I build push me to reach that scene. Is it worth it? I am not even sure. Some push prove me right, some left me a bit disappointed. But I just don’t want to feel sorry for staying and not trying. For the experiences in life 🍻

Do you feel like you push yourself enough? Or maybe we should take a rest and sip a cup of peach tea in the morning under the tree?

This morning i went to my favorite quiet place. Just 16 minutes walking from my place. The place might be full of people in one and half hour but then turns empty for rest of the day, most of days. Radio silent.

This place means solace to me. Shaded lush greens to my eyes and ripples of water for my ears. Sometimes I meet a frog, butterflies, or grasshopper there. Other visitors that I don’t mind to be with. If I be there at night, crickets sound become a serenade. I can read when the daylight or just being present in anytime. Looking at the sky in between the high walls. I whisper all my longings there. Negotiating if this one could be granted.

I read Breasts and Eggs by Mieko Kawakami. I decided to get my own copy after read it halfway at the library. I don’t bring any bookmark, though it’ll give me one. But then I remember I have this drawing of me by Kak Stephanie. I like it a lot so that I put it on the back of my iPad. It’s giving manifestation 💓

I am so glad to have this place to go. A serene hideout in a strange land. And I wish I can find one everywhere I be.

So, do you ha e your very favorite/personal/secret place in your town? Mind to share with me what is it like?

Our planet week - forest growing

Wondering how big a cicada is if its sound echoed throughout the forest. At least in between the bamboos next to my workspace. Guess it as big as a head, turns out it’s just 🤏🏻 this tiny with an air chamber on its body.

Unlocking a side quest: hiking.

Moss covered tree excites me. The fresh damp air, the shades, and the ferns. Millions shades of green to be witnessed. Hours of walk and hike that brought me within myself. I feel content, i can say.

My quadriceps surely be trained after all 😄

I’m currently ready Man Searching for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. These days, the feeling of the uncertainty could feel like strange and unsettling. The uncertainty in this book seemed like a next level of fear. Being trapped in a concentration camp with nothing physical left-not to mention every improper conditions and heavy work they had to do after. Pages after, the writer share his observation of people (including himself) who survived. When everything was stripped down, moral is the last thing they had to keep going. The moral which turned to hope of the future-not the good old day mementos.

Still some pages left to read and I’m excited to read until the last page.

Thank you for taking the picture! 🫶🏻

Bandung is no longer cold these days. The sun is starting to bravely show its light (and heat!). Well, this is the look when I work from anywhere, not going to the office (but still, working or creating somewhere). Thank you for taking a photo of me this morning. Almost hit by a motorbike but don’t worry, I am safe 😂

After office iftar, I went quick to Periplus and passed by Uniqlo to see if there’s anything I could buy (which turned none). Here to start another OOTD post in 2026 ✨

I travelled quite a lot these months with some events in between. From short gateways to Dieng and Yogyakarta to stroll under the scorching summer in Osaka. From joining art market with to 10k running race.

As an extrovert, I don’t feel like exhausted. I cherish every moments to meet people here and there. Talking and listening endlessly about life and so on. This week, I reserved my Sunday for my own self. Staying at home talking to myself. Finally the weird feeling sneaking in. A solitude moment which was fulfilling. I took my time to check all the tasks I got to do and dodged all the deadlines. Drew a quick drawing for myself, Vina who is staying in the room and drinking plenty of water.

So, which one do you prefer? Cheers!
