Rumours are swirling about potential artists lining up to perform as part of a new “Plugged In” series of concerts! The concept is reminiscent of the MTV Unplugged series of the 1990s; however, in this incarnation performers re-imagine their prior acoustic songs as thrash metal versions, using extreme distortion and massive amplification. Bob Dylan is rumoured to have been approached to perform but was worried that his traditional folk fan base may label him as Judas.

The Quandongs, currently touring as part of the Back of the Truck Tour with , had a unique experience when playing in Manchester. “We were playing at a place called The George and Dragon and were told to expect an interesting stage set-up, but this was ridiculous—we were put in harnesses and hoisted to the ceiling. Apparently, the band-on-the-roof configuration is used to avoid disruptions to the music when brawls erupt.”

Chaotic musicians, Anarchy Rules!, the band renowned for their relentless pursuit of ‘smashing the system’ have released tickets for their upcoming shows as part of the Back of the Truck Tour with 2nd27. However, some fans have been left wondering about the extended terms of entry that have been specified by the band. One fan saying “Yes, I get 'no photography.' But what is with no shouting, no looking the band members in the eye, and no purple clothing? I mean, I’m just looking for an easy night out and some societal destruction, but this is feeling kind of repressive”.

The band, King Sc**te, were recently lost and wandering the streets of Pontefract, where they are currently playing as part of the Back of the Truck Tour with . “We got dropped off by our driver in the wrong part of town. We were walking around looking for somebody to blame when we stumbled across The Tap & Barrel. After six or seven pints, we felt much better and danced the night away, eventually deciding to blame it on the boogie”
