In a city that never stops moving,
For many living in Jakarta, daily life is an endless loop of survival, competition, and speed. But true relief isnโt always a flight awayโsometimes itโs parked right outside.
Born from a shared love of 80s and 90s car culture between Ardhira Putra and TheDustandBones (Alfonsus Andre) since 2013, Vakansi is an exploration of the car as a storyteller. a collaborative journey centered around the cars and the memories built inside them.
Growing up, cars werenโt just metal and four wheels. They were freedom. Teenage Nostalgia, late-night friendship, road trips, cassette tapes playing on loop, and the thrill of heading into the unknown.
Vakansi is a reminder to slow down, honor your passions, and find joy in the simple ride of daily life. Take a breath, appreciate your time,ย
and take joy in the everyday ride.
See you at Parot Siramami
