Gambian Afro artist Mariam Jobe titled “Kedo.” The song delivers a rich Afro-Manding
fusion, blending traditional West African musical heritage with a modern roots reggae
rhythm to create a vibrant and distinctive sound.
“Kedo” features the beautiful and soulful kora melodies performed by Mafo Conteh, adding
an authentic Manding musical touch that complements the modern production. The
combination of Afro-Manding elements and a roots reggae groove creates a unique sonic
experience that highlights Mariam Jobe’s expressive voice and artistic versatility.
