J+ Art Awards 2026
NOMINEES ANNOUNCEMENT

The nominees for J+ Art Awards 2026 are here.

After receiving more than 400 submissions from artists across 43 countries, 49 artworks by 44 artists have been selected to move forward to the final judging process. The J+ Art Awards 2026 jury consists of Prof. Noboru Tsubaki, Kyoto University of the Arts, Japan; Dr. Aisha Al-Misnad, Qatar Museums, Qatar; Mona Liem, Founder & Curator of Connected Art Platform; Flora Miranda, Visual Artist & Fashion Designer, Austria; and M. Ilham Samudra, Artist & Curator, Indonesia.

The final judging process will determine the award recipients, with the winners to be revealed during 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 this October.

From over 400 submissions from 43 countries, the journey of J+ Art Awards 2026 reaches another milestone.

Following the selection process by our five judges, Dr. Aisha Almisnad, Prof. Noboru Tsubaki, Mona Liem, Flora Miranda, and M. Ilham Samudra, together with our program partners, we are proud to announce the Selected Participants of J+ Art Awards 2026: Series 2 of 2.

This final series features selections for Apikmen, the Student Category, and the Awarding Week.

Congratulations to all Selected Participants of Series 2 of 2, and to everyone who has been part of this journey.

With the announcement of Series 2, the Selected Participants of J+ Art Awards 2026 have now been fully announced. All selected participants will receive confirmation via email and WhatsApp within the next 2–3 days regarding further information, program details, and the next steps.

The journey continues through exhibitions, collaborations, and programs with our partners, leading towards the J+ Art Awards 2026 Awarding Week this October, where we will celebrate the participants and announce this year's award recipients.

𝗠𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘

Inviting you to 𝗠𝗜𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗘, a group exhibition presented by J+ Art Awards 2026 in collaboration with Meiro Gallery.

Mirage explores the shifting boundaries between perception, reality, and imagination. Like a mirage that appears tangible yet transforms as we move closer, the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the fragile spaces where memory, illusion, and lived experience intersect.

Mirage continues its journey at Meiro Gallery as part of the J+ Art Awards 2026 Roadshow, following its presentation at ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan. Leading toward the Awarding Night this October, the roadshow brings Mirage to partner galleries and institutions across Indonesia through a series of exhibitions that spotlight selected artists and expand the dialogue around this year’s theme.

J+ Art Awards X ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan

Tahun ini menandai tahun kedua kolaborasi J+ Art Awards bersama ARTOTEL Group. Setelah sebelumnya menghadirkan pameran di Mangkuluhur ARTOTEL Suites Jakarta dan ARTOTEL Suites Bianti Yogyakarta, kolaborasi berlanjut di ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan sebagai bagian dari komitmen bersama dalam mendukung praktik seni kontemporer dan membuka ruang bagi talenta-talenta baru Indonesia.

Diselenggarakan sejak 2024, J+ Art Awards merupakan platform yang berfokus pada pencarian, pengembangan, dan koneksi talenta di bidang seni, budaya, dan inovasi. Memasuki edisi ketiga pada 2026, J+ Art Awards terus berkembang melalui kolaborasi dengan berbagai institusi, ruang seni, dan mitra internasional untuk menghadirkan peluang baru bagi para seniman.

Mengusung tema Mirage, J+ Art Awards 2026 mengeksplorasi bagaimana persepsi, realitas, dan imajinasi saling bertemu dalam membentuk cara kita memahami dunia saat ini. Seperti fatamorgana yang tampak nyata namun terus berubah ketika didekati, Mirage mengajak seniman merespons batas-batas yang semakin cair antara kenyataan, ilusi, memori, dan harapan.

Pameran di ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan menjadi pembuka rangkaian J+ Art Awards 2026 Roadshow sebelum puncak Awarding Night pada Oktober mendatang. Bersama berbagai partner di Indonesia, roadshow ini akan menghadirkan pameran-pameran yang berjalan beriringan sebagai ruang untuk memperkenalkan para seniman terpilih sekaligus membawa tema Mirage ke berbagai audiens sepanjang perjalanan J+ Art Awards 2026.

We are pleased to present Geed Saputra as one of the selected participants of J+ Art Awards 2025, whose works continue to be featured through exhibitions and public programs in collaboration with our partner initiatives throughout 2026.

As part of this ongoing journey, Geed Saputra will join Tangi Street Art Festival 2026 through a mural jamming session at the closing celebration, Tangi Groove & Graffiti, on 16–17 May 2026.

A gathering where mural, graffiti, music, community, food, and camping come together in the middle of the pine forest of Glagalinggah, Kintamani.
