We would like to extend our deepest apologies to everyone in Kuching who came down today to see Benighted.
The band’s journey was met with a series of setbacks, their flight into KLIA arrived late, causing them to miss their connection. They were immediately rescheduled onto the next available flight at 5pm and only touched down in Kuching at 7:10pm. From there, they grabbed their luggage and gear and rushed straight to the venue without pause.
Despite the team’s and the organizers’ best efforts on the ground, a critical piece of gear suffered an unexpected technical failure at the very last minute. Every possible solution was attempted, but the issue could not be resolved in time for the band to perform properly.
We know how much tonight meant to many of you, and we truly share your disappointment. Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your continued support. We will work closely with the band to plan a proper return tour in the near future.
