Inspiring Anatomical Venus—the 18th-century wax models designed to be both medically accurate and aesthetically "ideal"—as a muse, Audrey created a powerful dialogue between science, beauty, and the macabre.

Audrey juxtaposes the clinical with the cozy. By painting biological interiors onto a polyester rug, she invites a sensory confusion: the 'uncomfortable' sight of exposed viscera meets the 'comfortable' texture of a household object. The figure’s serene expression and the swirling, rhythmic patterns of the background suggest that being truly 'seen'—all the way to the core—is a state of grace rather than a state of vulnerability.

In this tender painting, Audrey tells a story of love that exists across time and space.
On the left, a mother cradles her child after birth—a quiet moment of closeness, warmth, and new beginnings.
On the right, the same bond unfolds before life enters the world: a mother carrying her baby within the womb, protected, connected, and whole.

The figures are woven together through flowing lines and gentle patterns, suggesting that the bond between mother and child is unbroken—before birth and beyond. Past, present, and becoming coexist on one canvas.

Through soft colours and intimate forms, Audrey celebrates motherhood as a continuous circle of care, where love begins unseen, grows in silence, and lives forever in the shared rhythm of two hearts.
