Ever wondered how a day in our studio looks like?

Here’s a glimpse to our daily activities. It’s a very tactile space where our hands get busy in moving and making stuff. We make prints from small to big, from monochrome to colourful ones.

Other than commercial print commissions, we also offer workshops both public and private. And for more advanced printmakers and artists out there, we have studio access and residency programs. DM or send us an email for more info.

Curious how ‘SPORE-TACULAR’ by Emte Mohammad Taufiq was made? Here are some behind the scene shots.

Slightly different from our usual screen print fare, this time we also applied some metallic leaves for a twist. Gold and silver accents give the artwork some extra emphasis, highlighting the silhouette of the mushrooms.

Play with cyanotype and get experimental with your print. Turn your photograph into the iconic blue print, or spice it up with some plant bit collage. Learn how to apply the emulsion yourself and make the cyanotype 'sandwich.'

The Howling Onshore is a fundraising project for Balinese dogs. The project captures the quirky local dogs as beachgoing characters, depicted as a series of screen prints among other various merchandise.

Monotype is a unique printmaking technique. As the name implies, it only produces one print as opposed to multiple editions printed with other conventional techniques.

By drawing or paint directly on a flat surface such as perspex, one can transfer the artwork onto the paper, resulting in a unique one-off print. Alternatively, one also can utilise plant parts and flat objects to create unique silhouettes and original collage-like compositions.

Monotype is a highly versatile medium, suitable for beginners and seasoned artists alike. We offer this technique for commission services, private classes, and studio hire.

If you prefer printmaking techniques that are quite hands-on, this one is for you!

In this mixed technique workshop, you can make your own detailed lineworks by scratching the plastic sheet with metal scribe. Alternatively, you can take up the brush and create painterly marks and textures by combining glue and carborundum powder. Combined together, these two techniques will reveal expressive and textural print.

Etching is one of the most classic printmaking techniques. By scribing marks on a metal plate such as copper and zinc and ‘bite’ it with acid, one can print highly detailed lineworks.

Advanced processes such as aquatint and sugar lift can be added to the plate, reinforcing the artwork with expressive textures.

This technique is suitable for artworks that require detailed drawings and classic cross hatching look. We offer this technique for commission services, private classes, and studio hire.

Earlier this year, we worked on a series of multi-technique prints commissioned by Locavore NXT Locavore NXT for their latest menu, ‘The Source’: a radical 16-course journey through the Indonesian wild.

By merging floral designs, various textures, cyanotype techniques, toning, digital printing, and hand tinting, we created a collection of artworks mounted on canvas. These round canvases were showcased together as an installation, where visitors could admire them displayed at Locavore NXT in Ubud.
