As part of celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day, we highlight ’s work:

A Rhythm That Cannot Be Sung, Yet Faintly Felt Within the Body (slide 1)
This piece recalls the time when Indonesians were prohibited from singing their national songs during the Japanese occupation. Here, the rhythm of Indonesia Raya—painted as numerical notation—persists as a heartbeat that cannot be erased. On the back, a blurred signboard stands upright, marking resilience even in silence.

🇮🇩 Selamat Hari Kemerdekaan ke-80, Indonesia!
Exhibition is close today. Come see the work in person on 18 August—your last chance before the exhibition closes.

doesn’t just draw — she collects moments. Her practice blends everyday intuition with deep attention to material. With roots in Tokyo and experiences that span multiple geographies, her works on daluang unfold like quiet rituals: layered, strange, and somehow familiar.

In July, she brought her slow observations to Bandung — after a month of working directly at , where memory meets material.

Stay curious.
Her gestures carry more than meets the eye.
