9 years ago, we established a connection between Bandung and Bern through similarity in city behaviour, atmosphere, specifically in creative industries sector.

norrm] Büro Destruct] and held a series of event called "Small City Big Design in Bandung". Somehow, we still maintain communication and emotionally connected until now.

We never thought that now we are connected again through a grief news. Yesterday, on June 3, 2022, a son of the former mayor of Bandung who is now the governor of West Java Province, was declared dead after several days missing in the Aare river, Bern. He is Emmeril Khan Mumtaz.

There's not much we can say other than our condolences and we are deeply saddened by this loss. We send our best prayers to our brother, Eril, who had preceded us to a world of endless beauty and serenity.
