Waterbom Bali redefines the concept of a waterpark, selling the experience as much as the slides. Waterbom first opened on the tropical island of Bali in 1993. It has faced obstacles such as the economic crisis, bombs, and bird flu’s, through these challenging times it has managed to fight and grow. Today it hosts 22 waterslides, a wide array of facilities and has received multiple accolades on a

yearly basis. TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards ranks Waterbom Bali 1st in Asia (four consecutive years). It now aims to be the first eco sustainable park in the world.

Under the light of this week’s full moon, our Waterbom family came together to celebrate our annual Piodalan, the anniversary of our park temple. 🌕🤍

This special tradition reminds us of the importance of gratitude, togetherness, and respect for the Balinese culture that surrounds us.

It takes weeks of preparation, from creating offerings and cooking traditional food to our annual Gebogan competition, praying together, and enjoying traditional Balinese performances by our talented Waterbomers. Every part of the celebration reflects the sense of community we cherish at Waterbom.

These traditions continue to strengthen our connection to our island home and to the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, the Balinese philosophy of living in harmony with people, nature, and the spiritual world. We’re grateful to celebrate them together each year.

What a difference a few years can make! 🌱

Three years ago today, we welcomed the very first guests to our new Oasis Gardens area. 🌿

Since then, it has grown into a much-loved part of the park. The gardens have flourished, the trees have settled in to provide welcome shade, and today it feels as though it has always been here.

It’s become a place for every kind of Waterbom moment, chasing thrills on Boomerang or The Drop, sipping cocktails at the swim-up bar, enjoying lunch at Oasis Café, or simply unwinding in a gazebo in Oasis Forest.

We’ve loved watching this little corner of the park bloom over the past three years, and we hope you’ve enjoyed discovering and exploring this new area. 💚
